2010 Conference Explores New Landscape of Safety
What constitutes safety in the workplace?
Over time, the idea of safety has come to mean so much more than just hard hats and steel toes – and Safety Services Manitoba is celebrating that fact at its
25th Anniversary Safe Work Conference.
The New Landscape: Health and Safety for the Body and Mind is the theme for next year’s conference, which takes place Jan 20-21 at the Victoria Inn and Conference Centre in Winnipeg.
The rapid evolution of workplace health and safety affects the roles we play in our organizations. We invite everybody to check out the event and experience the developing landscape of safety culture.
The conference will expand your professional skills and broaden your knowledge with a greater focus on health and wellness. All two-day delegates even receive educational credit certificates for each certificate course attended.
This year’s lineup of topics and keynote speakers will resonate with senior managers, supervisors, union safety representatives, lead hands, occupational health and safety specialists, safety engineers, health care workers and human resource specialists.
Register before Dec. 18 and get a special Early Bird Discount - $50 off the two-day registration fee of $425.
And while you’re at it, check out another opportunity for those passionate about health and safety.
We are looking for health and safety professionals to deliver full-service occupational, road, and community safety programming, specifically Levels I, II, & III Health and Safety Consultant-Instructors.
