SSM Safety Certification
Safety Services Manitoba members are eligible for SSM Safety Certification. SSM Safety Certification supports organizations in managing the health and safety of their employees. The goal of SSM Safety Certification is to give organizations the opportunity to develop a sustainable, self-sufficient health and safety system.
SSM Employee Wellness Program
SSM’s Employee Wellness Program is a comprehensive approach to supporting and encouraging healthy living both on the job and at home. Weekly email updates educate and challenge employees to improve their nutrition, fitness, and emotional health and offer disease prevention strategies. Each employee sets realistic annual goals in two wellness areas. As they work toward their goals, employees track progress by climbing the “Wellness Pyramid.”
Free on-site consultation
Safety Services Manitoba offers members a free, three-hour on-site consultation with one of our experienced safety professionals. We will provide a written report outlining the findings of the consultation and recommend simple changes to improve your safety and health program and reduce injuries and illness for your employees.
Safety Leadership Training
SSM’s half-day Safety Leadership course outlines the best practices for developing and implementing an effective health and safety management system. Participants learn about the seven core elements of an effective health and safety management system. Partners in Safety receive two complimentary seats in Safety Leadership. Partners in Safety may choose either the free on-site consultation OR the Safety Leadership Training for two.
