Safety Services Manitoba Safety Certification supports organizations in managing the health and safety of their employees. The goal of SSM Safety Certification is to help you develop a sustainable health and safety system for your workplace and your employees.
Safety Certification is not just a piece of paper – it is a process companies use to uniformly reduce workplace injuries and illnesses.
Every company works through SSM Safety Certification differently – and that is why the program is flexible by design. We can make it fit any company of any size, in any sector of the Manitoba workforce. SSM Safety Certification is available to all members.
For SSM members, the steps are simple:
1 – Get evaluated by SSM.
2 – Develop an action plan to achieve SSM Safety Certification.
3 – Complete required training.
4 – Undergo an assessment.
5 – Receive certification, based on the assessment of safety and health system performance.
