Judy Murphy has been appointed President and CEO of Safety Services Manitoba.
“Judy has an impressive track record running successful not-for-profits and building partnerships in the community,” says Mark Hollingsworth, Chair, Safety Services Manitoba Board of Directors. “She brings a fresh perspective to safety and our position in the safety sector. Her leadership will help us realize the tremendous potential in the organization.”
Judy has held leadership positions at the Winnipeg Art Gallery, Folklorama and the Royal Winnipeg Ballet. In each of these roles, she developed strong relationships with internal and community stakeholders as well as all three levels of government. For the last three years, Judy has been the Practice Leader for Strategic Planning and Board Governance at Meyers Norris Penny. She has been involved on many boards and committees and is currently the Chair of the Winnipeg Chamber of Commerce and the Vice-Chair for the Crown Corporations Council of Manitoba.
“I’m very passionate about the well-being of the community and I see Safety Services Manitoba playing a big role in the health and safety of Manitobans,” says Judy. “I am committed to Safety Services Manitoba’s values of safety, responsiveness and responsibility.
