Overhead Crane Awareness Training
Course Description
The Overhead Crane Awareness Training course teaches the basics of safe crane/sling operation and pre-shift inspections. Increase productivity and efficiency while reducing the risk of damage to product and property and incidents. Overhead Crane Awareness training includes load limits and capacity, lifting, use of chains, slings, spreader bars, grabbers and other attachments. This course is divided into both a theory portion with a written test and a practical portion where operators will perform an inspection on the rigging equipment and operate the overhead crane in a safe training environment.
