Course Description
This course provides a basic understanding of due diligence and how it works for you and your organization. It covers the rights and responsibilities of all employees/employers in the workplace, what they mean, and provides participants with an overview of Manitoba’s health and safety law as well as the Criminal Code of Canada.
Participants will have a better understanding of how to fulfill Due Diligence needs for their respective companies and how to avoid OH&S penalties.

General duties of employers
4(1) Every employer shall in accordance with the objects and purposes of this Act
(a) ensure, so far as is reasonably practicable, the safety, health, and welfare at work of all his workers; and
(b) comply with this Act and regulations.
