Students will learn how to inspect fall protection equipment, how to don a harness, and have the opportunity to experience what it feels like to hang in a harness. Participants will receive a certificate upon successful completion of this course.
This course will teach participants the skills required to train adult learners. This program will begin teaching participants the same program a fall protection participant would learn to ensure potential trainers have a solid working knowledge of working at heights; this includes a written and practical skill assessment to validate training competencies. Participants are than expected to spend up to 30 minutes teaching the Fall Protection course to the other participants to ensure they become comfortable instructing this course at their workplace.
