Articulating Boom Lift Course Description
This course includes a written and practical skill assessment to validate training competencies.
Safety Services Manitoba’s aerial work platform training provides students with the most current legislative information including the CAN/CSA-CAN/CSA-B354.8:17 Mobile elevating work platforms — Operator (driver) training (ISO 18878:2013, MOD).
Participants will receive a certificate upon successful completion of this course.

- As a group, conduct a pre-op inspection of boom lift

5 Requirements for training, familiarization and authorizing operators
Only personnel properly trained, familiarized and authorized in accordance with this International Standard shall operate a MEWP/AWP.
7.4 Training/retraining
The operator shall be trained or retrained as necessary to keep the level of proficiency at an acceptable level.
