Safety Services Manitoba is very pleased to announce our new partnership with Canadian Manufacturers and Exporters (CME).

“Safety Services Manitoba is delighted to work together with CME to increase knowledge and awareness of leading safety practices for the manufacturing sector,” said Judy Murphy, President and CEO of SSM. “We look forward to the many shared opportunities that this partnership will bring.”

CME will introduce SSM safety courses and programs to their current list of training offerings. Safety Committee Basics will be the first SSM course that CME will add to their catalogue of services. This course provides an overview of workplace rights and responsibilities. Content will include safety committee meetings, hazard recognition and control, inspections and right to refuse situations. This course is useful for committee members, safety and health representatives, employers and supervisors.

With CME’s help, SSM can expand the reach of our safety training and services to even more Manitobans.

CME is equally excited about the opportunity: “CME is pleased to embark on a partnership with SSM to deliver training. We’re two not-for-profit organizations working together to improve safety awareness and prevention of loss while protecting people,” says Debbie Leiter, CME HR Champion.

CME and SSM are pleased to provide a 10% discount to CME members on all safety programs offered by CME.

Mark your calendars for Safety Committee Basics course on June 6, 2013.

    Registration is available online.
