    May 12 Update:

    To Our Valued Customers,

We look forward to welcoming our clients and students back into our SSM facility over the coming weeks. SSM will gradually & cautiously resume limited in-person classes, for occupation training only, in the coming weeks.

SSM will be adhering to and exceeding all government guidelines for re-opening our training center that allows for proper physical distancing and enhanced sanitization and hygiene requirements.

Firstly, on the occupational side, SSM will continue with Live Remote Training wherever possible. We will be transitioning back to in-person training on a limited basis.  The week of May 11 we will start with dedicated classes on request, for courses where practical training is required such as forklift and AWP.  This can be done at SSM’s facility or on-site as requested.  All Government guidelines will be followed and exceeded. Open enrolment occupational courses will begin the week of May 25 for courses which require practical training.  These will be offered on a limited basis to start.

SSM is currently suspending all Respirator Fit Testing Services.

On the Safe Driving side, we will continue with Live Remote Training for all Responsible Driver Workshops and Novice Driver Workshops. Group Motorcycle courses are not permitted under Phase 1.  All students will be contacted for rescheduling in the order of their original registration date.

SSM will share and post guidelines and protocols we will be following in our facility prior to classes resuming.

SSM offices will continue to be closed to the public, our training center will be open with restricted access to registered students only. The SSM team remains available to serve you over the phone or via email.

Only registered students will be allowed into the facility.

Please check our website for regular updates.  Please note that all dates are subject to change as required.
