Do you wish you had more energy at the end of your day?

Would you like better sleep, improved focus, and situational awareness?

Are you looking for ways to feel more balanced, make choices with ease, and feel good about your decisions?

Strengthening personal resilience has become an important strategy for improving personal and organizational effectiveness, productivity, health, and well-being. Sharon Inkster’s Biography:

Sharon is a board-certified Safety Professional (CRSP), a licenced HeartMath Trainer, and a former member of the RCMP. She works as an independent consultant to provide people with effective skills for improving resilience. Sharon is driven by a passion for inspiring people to make positive changes in their lives and in the lives of those around them. Her purpose is to share her knowledge, skills, and experiences with others to help them improve their resilience to life’s challenges.

Experiences with high stress / high-risk situations, in policing and underground mining, left Sharon questioning the mind set behind behaviours (most notably decision making), that contribute to unwanted events. Thinking exponentially about how to prevent incidents, and her personal experience with mental health challenges, sparked an interest for her research that led her to the concept of resilience and HeartMath®. Since learning the science behind how stress affects all aspects of human behaviour, and the physiology of a stress response, Sharon feels that she is taking root cause exploration to a whole new level. By helping organizations understand and improve the mental health of their people she is working on prevention measures that have a vast impact not only in safety, but in the overall performance of an organization.

For Sharon, the benefit of this work is it not only makes individuals and their organizations stronger, but people can take these skills home to their families and communities making them more resilient as well.
