    Judy Murphy, President and CEO, BA, FCPA, FCA, CEC

    Judy Murphy is an experienced visionary organizational leader and Certified Executive Coach with specific expertise in strategic and operational planning, organization structure, team building and board governance. Prior to joining SSM, Judy held leadership positions in three Manitoba organizations and led a consulting practice in strategic planning and board governance.

    Judy has been involved on many boards and committees and is a past chair of the Winnipeg Chamber of Commerce, Vice Chair of the Manitoba Chamber of Commerce, Chair of the Human Resource Leadership Council for the Winnipeg Chamber of Commerce and Chair of the Governance Committee for the Reh-Fit Centre. She has been active on a number of other boards, committees and task groups that have contributed to the betterment of Winnipeg and Manitoba.

    Lisa Alfred, Chief Financial Officer, HBComm, CGA

    Lisa Alfred is the Chief Financial Officer for Safety Services Manitoba.  Lisa joined our staff in 2003 and has been instrumental in moving our business forward.  Lisa has helped the company achieve a 300% growth in revenue and become a stable and powerful force in creating our province’s safety culture.  Now, 10 years later, Safety Services Manitoba is a leading not-for-profit safety provider, and the only not-for-profit safety training and consulting firm in Manitoba.

    Lisa graduated from Laurentain University with a Bachelor of Commerce Honors and made the Dean’s List and also earned her C.G.A Designation.

    Outside work Lisa is a member of P.E.O. a Philanthropic Educational Organization formed in 1867 dedicated to helping women achieve their educational goals.  Since its inception P.E.O. has given over $200 million dollars to over 88,000 women.  Lisa has sat on several provincial committees for P.E.O. and acted as financial advisor to the provincial board.

    Anita Zubricki, Director of Marketing, BA

    Adam Paoletic, CRSP, HSP

    Adam has been part of SSM’s team since 2009 and has trained over 1,740 students to date in nearly 200 courses, focusing on over two dozen topics. He also has worked with 21 companies as a Professional Safety Consultant. His prior experience as an owner of a small renovations company makes him a particularly skilled instructor in courses such as Construction Safety Representative, Ladder Safety, Forklift and Safety and the Supervisor.     Miranda Deline

    Miranda has been working in the safety industry for over five years and has thorough hands-on experience in the field of health and safety and a strong knowledge of provincial and federal workplaces. In her past position, Miranda has created numerous safety programs that became both effective and manageable, helped build plant floor teams and trained management, supervisors, and employees to take ownership. In every metric, the companies Miranda has worked for have seen stunning improvements under her leadership.

    Miranda is experienced in developing, maintaining and supporting numerous industry sectors in the development of their safety management systems. Many of these clients work within the construction and manufacturing sectors which Miranda has provided the client with appropriate guidance regarding the interpretation and application of safety legislation, conducting safety audits, inspecting client workplaces for safety and health hazards, facilitating training programs and ensuring effective implementation.

    Miranda is a graduate of the Occupational Health and Safety Certificate Program at Red River College.  She was on the Deans Honor Roll.  She is currently in the process of completing her Health and Safety Professional certification (HSP) and National Construction Safety Officer (NCSO) designation. She also looks forward to beginning the process of completing her Canadian Registered Safety Professional (CRSP) designation in the near future.

    Wayne Pierce

    Since 2011, Wayne has taught over 1,450 students at SSM in courses such as Forklift, Aerial Work Platforms, Fall Protection, Inspecting the Workplace, Lockout, Safety Committee Basics, Skid Steer and GHS/WHMIS. He also has acted as a Professional Safety Consultant (formerly known as a Safety Resource Officer) and has conducted workplace safety and health assessments for a number of companies.     Mike Perry

    Mike brings a variety of occupational safety experience to his role as Occupational Safety Trainer and Consultant since re-joining the team at Safety Services Manitoba in 2017. He’s no stranger to the services and courses offered at SSM, because from 2005 to 2008 he facilitated classes on a multitude of workplace safety issues and procedures for over 1,800 people.     Joe Kutryk, CRSP, CHSC(R)

    Joe is a skilled and experienced safety consultant and instructor, having delivered OHS training across Canada in British Columbia, Alberta, Saskatchewan, Ontario and Manitoba. As a Canadian Registered Safety Professional (CRSP), a Certified Health and Safety Consultant (CHSC)(R) and a licensed Journeyman Electrician with over 40 years of experience, Joe has taught over 700 students during his time at SSM alone.     Bev Velestuk

    Bev has been a Road Safety Instructor at SSM since 2000 and is primarily responsible for delivering Novice Driver, Responsible Driver and Defensive Driver courses. To date, she’s taught 7,300 students in these courses. She recently has added Natural Resource Canada’s SmartDriver in the City program to her repertoire.     Dennis Meyer

    Dennis joined SSM’s Road Safety department in 2004. Dennis is responsible for teaching MPI mandated road safety courses such as Novice Driver, Responsible Driver and Defense Driving.     Susan Everton

    Susan has been a driving instructor since 1989 and with Safety Services Manitoba since 2005. Susan is SSM’s main instructor for the Mature Driver program funded by MPI; in her 9 years of teaching with SSM she has presented this program to 5,073 seniors across the province.
