Operation Red Nose – Winnipeg, Brandon, Portage La Prairie will not Operate the Designated Driver Service for 2020 Holiday Season due to COVID-19

Winnipeg, September 16, 2020. For 25 years running, Operation Red Nose has helped to get Manitobans – and their vehicles – home safely for the holidays.

Due to COVID-19, the Winnipeg, Brandon, Portage La Prairie, Flin Flon and Gimli organizers have made the difficult decision to not offer the designated driver service for the 2020 Holiday Season.

Decisions are still pending for the other rural Manitoba communities where Operation Red Nose typically operates.

Operation Red Nose (ORN) is a free, volunteer-run designated driver service that operates during the holiday season.
