Gearing Up OR Basic?
The Gearing Up course is designed to cater to riders starting from scratch, offering a comprehensive breakdown of fundamental riding skills. Whether participants are complete novices or seeking a thorough refresher, this course ensures NO prior knowledge is necessary. With a relaxed pace and extended riding sessions, it provides ample time to grasp each skill. Moreover, each skill is practiced by each student fostering a deeper understanding of knowledge and proper riding technique which in turn boosts confidence.
The classroom component is equally enriching, introducing students to various riding gear options and offering insights into the real-world riding scenarios they’ll encounter on the streets.
The Basic course is designed for individuals who have had some prior motorcycle riding experience. In the Basis course, we purposefully adopt a brisk pace through the material, aiming to assist riders with some prior experience in shedding any lingering bad habits and honing their fundamental skills before venturing onto the roads. Our approach involves swiftly covering aspects such as gear shifting and basic control usage, under the assumption that participants already possess this knowledge. This efficient handling of familiar topics allows us to allocate more time towards fine-tuning their existing skills.
By prioritizing refinement over repetition, we ensure that participants maximize their learning potential and emerge from the course with heightened competence and confidence on the road.
Note: Students who reside outside the Province of Manitoba can only take the GEARING UP MOTORCYCLE TRAINING and do not qualify for the MPI rebate.
Please bring your own re-fillable water bottle.
