Recognizing Excellence in Occupational Health & Safety
Safety Services Manitoba is proud to introduce the SSM Commitment to Safety Award, an annual recognition honoring one of SSM’s clients for their exceptional commitment to occupational health & safety.
This award celebrates organizations that demonstrate outstanding leadership, employee engagement, and continuous improvement in creating safer workplaces for Manitobans.
Eligibility
To be eligible, organizations must:
- Be an active SSM client
- Be in compliance with all relevant provincial and federal safety regulations
- Have no outstanding Stop Work Orders or Improvement Orders
Evaluation Criteria
Nominees will be assessed on:
- A documented and actively implemented safety program
- Employee participation in safety initiatives
- Timely and transparent incident reporting and corrective actions
- Ongoing commitment to innovation and improvement in workplace safety
