Course Description
Learn the basics in spill response. This course will identify products available and assist participants in generating a spill response plan for their organization. A practical application and demonstration is also included in our Spill Response training.
SSM’s Spill Response training provides students with the most current legislative information (including industry best practices). This course includes a written assessment to validate training competencies.

Training
35.3(1) an employer must ensure that a worker who works with or near a controlled product or performs work involving the manufacture of a controlled product receives training.
National Building Code
417.5.5 Spill control, drainage and containment: Rooms, buildings or areas occupied for the storage of solid and liquid hazardous materials shall be provided with a means to control spillage and to contain or drain off spillage.
